Original painting by Anouschka of marram grass swaying in the breeze on a balmy summers evening.
A familiar sight around Irelands sandy coastline marram grass is a native wild plant which flowers in July and August, producing lovely fluffy heads. This is my favourite time to paint them, when the straw-coloured flower heads pick up the dusty pink and orange tones in the sky.
